Our focus at DeBeck is on the Personal and Social Competency. We are working together to ensure that all members of the community feel welcome at school. Through the use of the Zones of Regulation, adults and students are learning to notice, name, and understand how to manage our feelings and emotions and how doing so helps us as learners and in our relationships with each other.

Our weekly assemblies have helped us develop common language and develop strategies to help calm our minds and be able to focus and be ready to learn at school. This year we will have alternating primary and intermediate themed assemblies.
