Dear DeBeck Families,

We hope you had a wonderful summer with family and friends! We are excited to welcome students back next week.

Our office staff returned on Monday, and we are busy preparing for the first day of school and the weeks ahead.  Please note, our main office will be in the white trailer at the front of the school until January 2026.

First Day of School – Tuesday, September 2

• Grades 1–7 (Returning Students): 8:45–9:45 a.m.
  Students go directly to last year’s classroom, entering through the exterior classroom door.

  • Students who ended last year in a portable will begin this year in a portable.

• Grades 1–7 (New Students): 8:40 a.m.
  Meet outside the main office (white trailer- see photo attached). Staff will guide students to their classroom for the week.

• Kindergarten Students:

  • Groups A & B: 1:00–2:00 p.m.

  • Group A line up at outside door 15 

  • Group B line up at outside door 14 

  • Mrs. Schwartz and Mrs. Lang will meet with all Kindergarten families, in the gym, from 1:00-2:00 PM to share information about our school and answer questions.

  • Wednesday, families follow the Gradual Entry Schedule that was emailed in July. Gradual Entry continues until Wednesday, September 10th.

Wednesday, September 3rd & Thursday, September 4th

• Grades 1–7: Regular school hours, 8:45 a.m.–2:45 p.m.
  Students report to the same classroom as Tuesday (or the one advised by staff).

• Kindergarten: Continue with the Gradual Entry Schedule.

Friday, September 5

Pending district approval, students will transition into their permanent classrooms for the 2025–2026 school year.

• Families will receive an email confirming classroom placement.

• The email will also indicate which exterior door to meet your child at the end of the day.
