Early this school year it became evident that because of COVID we needed to find another way to connect as a school. In September we took to Zoom and had our first in school virtual assembly. We immediately noticed the power of this connection and saw that it was a perfect platform for a school wide focus… The Zones of Regulation.  We all learned about using the Zones of Regulation to help us notice, name, understand and manage our feelings and emotions. Then we were able to come up with strategies to help us return to a place where we are calm, focused, and ready to learn. This school wide language helped us to come together as a community and to help us take care of ourselves and others.
