Dear Debeck Families,

We hope that you had a great summer with family and friends!

Our office staff returned on Monday, and we are beginning to look ahead and make plans for the first day and upcoming weeks. We are excited to welcome students back.

 On Tuesday, September 5^th, we welcome back our returning Grade 1-7 students from 8:45 – 9:45am.

Students should proceed to their classroom from last year. Please go to the exterior door of your child’s classroom.

EXCEPTIONS:

• Division 3 will report to outside door #16
• Division 4 will report to outside door #7
• Division 16 will come through the main entrance and report to the library
• All NEW Grade 1-7 students are to meet us at the main doors at 8:40 am.  You will be shown to the classroom where you will spend the week. 
• New kindergarten students will arrive as per the email sent to you in the first week of July:

Group A and B 10:00 – 10:45 a.m. Please meet at outside door 2, to the left of the main doors (Ms. Lindsay’s room). From Wednesday, you will follow the Kindergarten Gradual Entry Schedule previously mailed to you.

Wednesday, September 6th & Thursday, September 7th: Regular school hours (8:45am-2:45pm) for grade 1-7 students, reporting to the same classroom or the one advised on Tuesday. Kindergarten students will follow the Gradual Entry Schedule.

Friday, September 8th: Placement into classrooms for 2023-2024 requires district approval, providing that is given, our intention is to have students transition to assigned classrooms during the day. We will email parents advising them of their child's permanent placement and which outside door to meet them at the end of the day.
